There are still four spaces remaining for the July session of introductory Printmaking without a Press 1 at SHY RABBIT, instructed by award-winning artist, D. Michael Coffee.
Sign up now before this class fills! Dates and times as listed below.
No previous experience is required. Class size is kept small for individualized attention and advanced learning.
Since being introduced to the public in 2007 as part of the WORK-shops@SHY RABBIT Program, Printmaking without a Press has become one of SHY RABBIT’s most popular and regularly attended classes, drawing in students from throughout the country.
Treat yourself to a weekend filled with creativity, social interaction, and the satisfaction that come with learning something new. You will be amazed by the results, and how far you will advance in one short weekend!
Participants will be introduced to the basics of Coffee’s unique printmaking technique, and will learn how it can replicate traditional printmaking processes without the use of harmful chemicals or expensive printmaking presses.
Students are provided with a materials list, and are encouraged to advance at their own pace by practicing this remarkable printmaking technique in the privacy of their own home.
Printmaking without a Press 1 is also designed for those with traditional printmaking experience, and is geared to enhance existing skill levels in preparation for intermediate and advanced classes, if desired.
For space availability or to register, contact Denise Coffee by calling 731-2766. Visa and M/C payment accepted.
Online registration is also available for all workshops at: www.shyrabbit.com/RegistrationWorkshops.html
