Calling all motorcycle riders.
We are planning to have an entry in the July 4 Pagosa Springs parade. We invite all veterans and those who would like to support our veterans to come ride their motorcycles with us in the Parade.
Wave flags, honk horns, rev engines: let’s show the community that we support our veterans and our MIA/POWs.
We will assemble at the Pagosa Springs High School parking lot at 9 a.m. Parade starts at 10 and typically lasts about an hour or less.
Suggestion: streets get very clogged with traffic in town by 9 a.m. so be sure and allow plenty of time to get to the parking lot by 9. I’ve seen U.S. 160 backed up bumper to bumper from Pagosa Boulevard on the west end of town all the way into town by 9 in the past.
We will have some flags available, signs for windshields “saluting our veterans” and tape. Or you can bring your own.
Be creative, show your patriotism and come and join us.
Think red, white and blue.
