All Golden Retrievers, their canine friends and families are invited to participate in a weekend of fun and festivities on June 24 and 25 in the beautiful town of Pagosa Springs, “the canine-friendliest town in the nation.”

The two-day event will begin on Friday evening with registration and a barbecue dinner/kickoff party.

Saturday morning will commence with our “Gold Rush Parade” of four-legged friends, lea by all Goldens in the procession followed by a day filled with fun events, vendors, food, vet clinics and amazing prizes.

Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts will host the theatrical dog lover’s comedy “Sylvia” for all of our guests. Golden ticket price for the play is $12.

Many of Pagosa Springs’ restaurants, retail establishments and lodging facilities are welcoming dogs and their families with “open paws” and warm hearts. It will be a fun-filled, unique weekend designed for Golden Retrievers, their canine friends and the people who love them.

Registration for the weekend’s event is $25, profits to be distributed to area and state animal rescue groups.
