The Pagosa Springs Photography Club will meet Wednesday evening of May 11, 2011 at Shy Rabbit Contenporary Arts, 333 Bastille Drive.
Join us for socializing starting at 6 p.m., followed by the program, photo critiquing and business meeting at 6:30.
For this month’s club meeting program the club is pleased to present the following program: Bill Woggon will join up with Linda Brothers and present a photo slide show of their April trip to Bluff, Utah. They explored many of the ancient Anasazi ruins and petroglyph panels in the area. They will also have tips on where to go to see less frequented sites. Come join us for the fun. This will be our last meeting until September.
A photo exhibit is held during each club meeting. Two categories are presented — the monthly theme category and the open category, in which any subject is allowed. This month’s theme is “The Color Red”. Members can enter as many as three prints or six digital images. President T.J. Reynolds will lead the critique of photos. This will be done as a group rather than with specified judges.
The Photography Club meets the second Wednesday of each month during the club year from September through May at 6 p.m. interested photography enthusiasts are welcome to attend at no charge for the first meeting. Any and all are invited to join for annual dues of $20 for single individuals and $30 for family membership.
