A new session of introductory Printmaking without a Press 1 has been added to the June workshop schedule at SHY RABBIT to accommodate the growing demand for this very popular class.
Dates and times as listed below. Class size is kept small for individualized attention, and no previous experience is required.
This two-day introductory workshop also works as a great refresher for students that have traditional experience, and are interested in learning this exciting, low-tech method of printmaking.
Printmaking without a Press utilizes a unique hand-pressed printing process called “Reductive Ink,”™ designed and developed nearly 25 years ago by professional artist and workshop instructor D. Michael Coffee.
Coffee’s monotypes have been shown in numerous group and solo exhibitions throughout the country, and are included in dozens of national and international private and public corporations.
For additional information on Coffee’s work, and to view his biography and resume, visit www.dmcarts.com .
There are only three spaces currently remaining for the June session. Interested parties are encouraged to sign up quickly before this very popular class fills!
WORK-Shops @ SHY RABBIT are held in one of two spacious and comfortable 1,000 square-foot mixed media studios.

This workshop is also designed for those with traditional printmaking experience, and is geared to enhance existing skill levels in preparation for intermediate and advanced classes, if desired.
