The Pagosa Springs Community Choir has been rehearsing every Tuesday night for weeks now, and the concert dates are drawing near.
The choir will present its special selection of music on May 12, 13 and 14 at the high school auditorium. All three concerts will begin at 7 p.m.
This will be the choir’s first theme concert, as we take our audience on a “musical tour” through the United States.
We will visit the south with songs such as “Mississippi Mud,” “Do You Know What it Means to Miss New Orleans?” and “Georgia on My Mind.”
We’ll head north to sing “New York, New York.” Other parts of the country will be spotlighted through other musical selections.
The choir will also have a new look for this concert, but if we showed you, that would spoil the surprise, wouldn’t it?
As always, there is no admission charge for these concerts, so there’s no reason for not showing up at least once, or maybe even twice. It’s gonna be good, so don’t miss it!
