On Sunday, March 20, the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will view a DVD entitled “Small Steps to Giant Leaps of Faith — Breakthrough Congregations: 2010.”
It raises such questions as how UU congregations grow, what issues arise in the process of growth, and how they can best be negotiated.
The DVD, which was produced by the national Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA), dramatically depicts the unique stories of four separate UU congregations and the patterns of their rising prosperity over recent years.
Prayer is an important part of many religions and is central to Muslims. The children and youth will be introduced to the idea of prayer in Islam through a story and they will then make their own prayer rugs. Preparation will also continue for the upcoming “Tending the Garden” service on April 10, where they will share songs, stories and activities with the entire Fellowship.
The service begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza. Turn east on Greenbriar Drive off of North Pagosa Boulevard by the fire station, then left into the back parking lot and look for the big sign. All are welcome.
