The Four Corners Rifle and Pistol Club announces the return of the popular Cortez Gun Show, which will be held in the vacant old Wal-Mart Building, 2220 E. Main, Cortez, Friday, Saturday and Sunday April 15, 16 and 17.
The last gun show sponsored by the club was a great success in 2009.
“This desperately needs to become an annual event and that’s the plan,” stated show organizer and club member Keith Walden.
In the past, the Cortez Gun Show has been well received by both venders and attendees. Events like this take significant manpower and time. Before the final vote was taken to fund and go forward with the show at the monthly board meeting of the club on Feb 22, over100 tables had been reserved from word of mouth and contacting venders from the 2009 show.
The current venue layout plans can accommodate up to 180 tables.
