“Magical Mountain Village,” a Pagosa showcase concert, takes place Friday, March 25, at The Ross Aragon Community Center.
The fun begins at 6 p.m., at the pre-concert social. The concert begins at 7. The 6 p.m pre-concert social features live music, costumed dancers, beer and wine cash bar, desserts, snacks and coffee. Please bring desserts and snacks to share for the pre-concert social and intermission.
“Magical Mountain Village,” features a cast of artistes who represent the vast diversity of creativity in our, well, Magical Mountain Village — a showcase concert in the spirit of the Ed Sullivan and Steve Allen shows from antiquity. The art of juxtaposing a wide range of creative talents — dancers, singers, acrobats, vignettes, personalities, color, wit, charm, (don’t forget the elephants!)’– forms a rich and diversified experience.
Pagosa is an unusual community. Together with its unsurpassed natural beauty, it’s a community that offers a rich assortment of artistic talents amongst its inhabitants. The Ross Aragon Community Center presents “Magical Mountain Village” in collaboration with Elation Center for the Arts. The event is sponsored by The Pagosa Springs SUN newspaper and Jeff Laydon’s Pagosa Photography.
Advance tickets, for $10, go on sale at Higher Grounds and The Ross Aragon Community Center in a couple weeks. Tickets at the door are $12. Young people, 18 and under, are admitted free.
