The San Juan Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is soliciting proposals to provide services for older adults (60+) from public, private, and non-profit organizations within Region 9 of the State of Colorado. The Region 9 AAA serves Archuleta, San Juan, La Plata, Montezuma, and Dolores counties. Proposals will be accepted for contracts for the following categories of services:
I. Senior In-Home Services
A) Personal Care
B) Homemaker or home chore
C) Caregiver Support Services
II. Senior Assisted Transportation
III. Senior Nutrition Services
A) Congregate meals
B) Home-delivered meals
C) Registered dietician services
The contract period for this proposal is for twelve months, beginning July 1, 2011, and ending June 30, 2012. Proposals MUST be mailed and post-marked on or before April 1, 2011. These proposed changes are to the following Sections of the Land Use Regulations: 3 – Zoning, 4 – Subdivisions, and 11 – Definitions. The language proposed to be adopted is available for review in the County Planning Department 731-3877.
