On Sunday morning, Jan. 2, the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will hold its annual New Year’s Coffee House, with lots of entertainment and audience participation.
There’ll be vocal solos by Joseph Portal and Bonnie Runyan, as well as other offerings by members of the congregation. Joe Gilbert will play a guitar solo, and everyone will get to sing some fun songs.
You are invited to bring coffee cake or other goodies to share if you wish.
The Children’s Religious Exploration program will turn its attention this month to Christianity in its study of world religions. They will begin by looking at the birth of Jesus, then hear more about each character in the story and explore how fact, fiction, elaboration and truth come together in telling stories. They will make crowns and talk about what kind of gifts they’d like to bring to the earth.
The service begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza. Turn east on Greenbriar Drive off of North Pagosa Boulevard by the fire station, then left into the back parking lot and look for the big sign. All are welcome.
