The Pagosa Springs Youth Center will provide three different art classes for local youth during Thanksgiving break.
The three-day program is divided into three age groups and activities.
The schedule is as follows: ages 6-8 will meet from 9-11 a.m. and participants will do papier maché projects. Ages 9-12 will meet from noon to 3 p.m. and will do printmaking, artwork to frame for the holidays. And those 13 on up will learn woodcut printmaking and will design holiday cards.
Soledad Leo will run the program for the three days and the cost includes materials and snacks. The $40 charge is for ages 6-12 and the woodcut print class is $50 for the three days.
Space is limited, so call today with questions or to register your child at 264-5030, or call Soledad at 946-2361. Soledad Leo is one of the Youth Center’s AmeriCorps volunteers and her artistic talents and programs at the center benefit the youth of the community. This is one of our newest programs and we continue to offer experiences for local youngsters.
