BEGINNING at a right-of-way marker on the Easterly limit of U.S. Highway No. 160, a brass disk set in concrete, whence the South Quarter corner of said Section 8 bears South 26° 55’ 56” East, 2984.45 feet;

OF PAGOSA AREA WATER AND SANITATION DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given that a proposed budget has been submitted to the Board of Directors of the Pagosa Area Water and Sanitation District for the ensuing year of 2011; that a copy of such proposed budget has been filed in the office of the District at 100 Lyn Avenue, Pagosa Springs, Colorado, where the same is open for public inspection; and that such proposed budget will be considered at a Public Hearing of the Board of Directors of the District to be held at 100 Lyn Avenue, Pagosa Springs, Colorado on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at 7:00 o’clock p.m. Any elector within the District may, at any time prior to the final adoption of the budget, inspect the budget and file or register any objections thereto.

PUBLIC HEARING

The Town of Pagosa Springs Town Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday December 7, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. in the Town Hall Council Chambers to approve the 2011 proposed budget and capital program for the Town of Pagosa Springs and the Sanitation General Improvement District. Copies of the proposed budget and the proposed capital projects programs are available for public inspection in the office of the Town Clerk in the Town Hall.

A Conditional Use Permit on approximately 17 acres of a portion of 2,145 acres is proposed in portions of Sections 4 and 9, Township 35N, Range 2W, N.M.P.M. The proposal is for a major gravel extraction operation on the property. The property also known as Dutton Creek Ranch located approximately .75 mile from the intersection of Cloman Boulevard and Piedra Road.

Comments regarding this proposal may be submitted to the Archuleta County Planning Department, P.O. Box 1507, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147-1507, telephone: (970) 731-3877 prior to the public hearing by the Planning Commission on December 2, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in the County Courthouse.
