PSAC has received a matching grant again this year from the ExxonMobil Foundation.
Pagosan Dorothy Childers annually volunteers many hours at the Pagosa Springs Arts Council. It is because of her efforts that Exxon has honored PSAC with a grant of $500.
Thank you, Dorothy, for all your hard work and thank you, Exxon, for recognizing this work and for rewarding the Pagosa Springs Arts Council.
The Arts Alliance is partnering with Tim and Laura Moore to bring a center for the arts to Pagosa Springs.
There will be an open house at this new venue, formerly the Paint Connection building, 100 Trinity Lane on Friday evening, Nov. 12.
Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. and will include a tour of the facility and ongoing entertainment by Johnny K., Tony Saladino, Matt Brunson and others.

This production is produced by Music Boosters. “Forever Plaid: Plaid Tidings” is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International.
The Photography Club meets the second Wednesday of each month during the club year from September through May at 6 p.m. interested photography enthusiasts are welcome to attend at no charge for the first meeting. Plein Air Painters Club offers a wonderful opportunity for artists and art enthusiasts alike to share tips, ideas and resources. Pagosa provides an abundance of natural wonders permitting an artist to experience outdoor painting.

Join the PSAC
Started in 1988 the Pagosa Springs Arts Council, a non-profit organization, was conceived and developed to, in part, promote the awareness of the vast array of local artistic talent, provide educational and cultural activities in the community, sponsor exhibits and workshops by local and regional, and encourage and support continued appreciation and preservation of the aesthetic beauty of Pagosa Springs.
If you would like to join the Pagosa Springs Arts Council, please mail your name, address, phone number and e-mail address to PSAC, P.O. Box 533, and Pagosa Springs, CO 81147. You will also need to enclose a check payable to PSAC for the membership rate of your choice.
Membership rates are: Youth-$15; Individual Senior-$25; Individual Regular-$30; Family Senior-$40; Family Regular-$45; Business-$80; Patron -$250; Benefactor-$500, Director-$1,000 and Guarantor-$2,500 and up. The senior age requirement is 65-plus.
