Tom and Teresa Craig will be the speakers at the “Isaiah 19” conference at Restoration Fellowship Church (264 Village Drive), Saturday, Nov. 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is no cost or registration for the conference. All are welcome.
Both Tom and Teresa graduated from Christ For The Nations Institute (CFNI) in Dallas, Texas. After graduation from CFNI the Craigs helped to establish a mission organization called the Association of International Mission Services (AIMS) in Virginia Beach in 1985. In 1988, they left AIMS to help form the Rocky Mountain Center for World Mission in Denver, a branch of the U.S. Center for World Mission, which is based in Pasadena, Calif. Tom an Teresa served with the Rocky Mountain Center for World Mission for four years before moving overseas.
In 1992, the Craigs moved to Nicosia, Cyprus, where they established a base within the Middle East for Interdev, a partnership development organization that assisted mission organizations to cooperate together. This position took Tom to many countries of the Middle East where he developed an expertise in cross-cultural networking and partnership development. Tom worked with Interdev to oversee their work in the 26 nations of the Middle East, North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula until May 1999.
After leaving Interdev in 1999, Tom and Teresa continued to live in Cyprus and develop the “Lighthouse Network”, which was birthed in July 2000. The Lighthouse Network exists to facilitate and network together worship and intercession movements in the Middle East through regular conferences, teaching times and ministry trips held across the region. The relational network that has developed among believers in the Middle East as a result of the Craigs’ ministry is called “the Net”. Those involved with “the Net” are committed to the vision of establishing the “Highway of Worship” from Egypt to Assyria and including Israel that is described in Isaiah 19:23-25. Tom and Teresa envision, along with many other believers from across the Middle East region, the day when the nations and peoples of the Middle East will be reconciled to the Lord in the worship of the One True God — and with one another in genuine love relationships.
Since then the Craigs have transitioned from their 15-plus years of living and serving in the Middle East to being based in the U.S. to help with training and preparing young people to serve in the region of the Middle East in order to see the fulfillment of Isaiah 19:23-25. Tom and Teresa Craig now serve part-time with the “Israel Mandate” team at the International House of Prayer (IHOP) in Kansas City — as they continue with their vision for the fulfillment of Isaiah 19 — and in leading the ministry of the Lighthouse Network.
