The Pagosa Women’s Club is a social, educational and philanthropic club, which meets the second Wednesday of each month for lunch, socializing and an informative program.
Guests are always welcome to join this group of diverse, interesting women. Dues are $12 annually; funds raised from dues, as well as the holiday silent auction in December, are allocated to local nonprofit organizations, programs and events throughout the year.
At least 15 interest groups have resulted from members desiring to get to know and support each other, as well as simply enjoy each other’s company by sharing in various activities. The list of groups includes Bunco, Mexican Train Dominoes, Chick Flick Movies, Quilting and Cross Stitching, Walking, Girls’ Day Out, Scrapbooking, Community Service and many more. One group, which started with club members, Line Dancing, proved so popular that it is now a communitywide event open to everyone.
