On Sunday, Oct. 24, the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will consider “The Question of Corporations,” in a presentation by Pauline Benetti.
She points out that “The influence of corporations on our lives goes way back before the recent Supreme Court decision granting corporations personhood.” She asks “How have we become different? How have our lives become shaped? How has our political system been shaped? How are our principles compromised?”
Benetti holds in her history a teaching career devoted to shaping and forming creative thinking individuals, and also a corporate career as a trainer and technical writer. In her present, she has returned to her genetic roots: soil, water, plants, critters and a desire to be of service.
The children and young people are in for a surprise this Sunday. A Special Mystery Guest will lead them in an hour of exploration
The service begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, Unit B-15, Greenbriar Plaza. Turn east on Greenbriar Drive off of North Pagosa Boulevard by the fire station, then left into the back parking lot and look for the big sign. All are welcome.
