Hunter education classes will be held Oct. 21 and 22, and Nov. 4 and 5, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, and 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday, at the Colorado Mounted Ranger Building, 302 San Juan St.
Students must attend Thursday and Friday sessions. Cost is $20 per student.
These courses will be open to anyone wishing to obtain a hunter safety card. If you were born on or after Jan. 1, 1949, you are required to have a hunter safety card before you can purchase a hunting license. These will be the last lasses taught in Pagosa Springs in 2010.
