Obituary - Patricia Waller Fregia

On Sept. 8, 2010, the immortal spirit of Patricia Waller Fregia joyfully went to heaven to join her many friends and family members. There waiting to greet her were her father and mother, George and Rena Waller, her husband, James Aaron Fregia, their son, Daniel Wayne Fregia, and other beloved family members and friends.

Born June 17, 1944, in New Iberia, Louisiana, Pat was the first of two children born to George and Rena Waller. For 66 years, Pat lived a courageous and adventuresome life. She married her high school sweetheart and reveled in her role as wife and mother to Hunter and Troy. Pat took much satisfaction in working for many years with children with learning disabilities.

Pat’s greatest joy came from the spiritual quest she shared with her husband, Jim Fregia. Attending, organizing and leading a wide variety of seminars, conferences and media interview shows became a daily part of their lives. There was never a time when a study group of one sort or another was not meeting at her house — among them: A.R.E., Master Minds, A Course in Miracles, the Unity Church, and others.

As the duo, “The Dream Team,” Pat and Jim taught dream interpretation for twenty years. They were frequent guest speakers on radio and TV shows across the U.S. and in many other English speaking countries. Pat and Jim founded, The Omnicenter, a holistic healing facility in Texas. They co-authored the widely read book “Know Your Dreams, Know Yourself.” Together, they published numerous articles in Venture Inward, a publication of the Association for Research and Enlightenment.

Pat lived the past 13 years in Pagosa Springs. She passed at home very peacefully surrounded by friends and caregivers. She will be missed by all.

Pat is survived by her sister, Sue Waller Boger; her sons, Roy Hunter Harris III of Peoria, Ariz., Troy Allen Harris of Dayton, Texas, Dr. James Allen Fregia of Odessa, Texas, and Dale Edward Fregia of Mallorca, Spain; daughter, Kathryn Leigh Brooks of Angleton, Texas; as well as 12 beautiful grandchildren.

A memorial service for friends and family will be held in Pagosa Springs in the spring as she wished. For details, contact Hunter Harris at hharris7@cox.net. At Pat’s request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brazosport College Foundation for the Jim and Pat Fregia Scholarship Fund at 500 College Dr, Lake Jackson, TX 77566.
