Cards of Thanks

Epps

Thank you from Lobster Heaven!

This is a letter of thanks for giving my husband and I the treat of enjoying a live Maine Lobster here in Pagosa Springs! As advertised in The SUN, it was a fund-raiser for SIDS that was organized by Angel Eyes in Denver. The live Maine lobsters, frozen lobster tails and steaks were flown into Pagosa on Saturday and St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church generously offered to be the distribution facility. Thank you for the gift of bringing back fond memories of eating an entire lobster … melted butter … garlic … yum!

Volleyball

The Pagosa Springs High School volleyball team would like to express our sincere appreciation to Ryan and Aurora Wright, with the Mud Shaver Car Wash, for their generosity in allowing us to use their facilities for our recent fund-raiser. The funds will help us to attend upcoming volleyball camps during the month of July. We cannot thank you enough for all your help! We would also like to thank Kim, from the Chamber of Commerce, for the use of the bouncy house, as well as all the girls and parents who donated items for the yard sale and bake sale and helped with the fund-raiser.

Sincerely,

Coach O’Donnell and the volleyball team

Seeds

Thank you, thank you to the Pagosa Springs community and beyond for supporting the first Seeds of Learning Yard Sale. We were able to raise funds in support of the Seeds children, parents, staff and program.

Special thanks to Terry Smith for allowing us to use the old Circle T lumber yard as the site for this successful event.

In gratitude,

The Seeds Board of Directors

White

The White Family would like to thank the Pagosa Springs Golf Club, Troy and his staff, for running our tournament this year. Thanks to Janna Ranson, Summer Phillips, Jeff Laydon, Cappy White and our son, Chris, and his friends for making this a great tournament. We heard the food was great, thanks to the Dogwood Cafe. Sorry we couldn’t be there this year, but we’ll be back in full swing next year. Thanks to Mark Thompson for help on the scholarships. This year, we were able to give five $1,500 scholarships. Thanks to all the golfers that participated this year and all the contributors. A special thanks to Natalie at Wells Fargo Bank for being my errand runner. See you next year.

Burly, Cindy and Chris
