This year’s adult softball season begins Monday at the high school fields, with six games in the men’s division on the schedule.
Action begins on Field 1 at 6:30 p.m. with Selph’s Propane facing Davis Engineering; MBM takes on the Warriors at 7:35 p.m., and Danny’s Masonry plays Dulce Black Sox at 8:40 p.m.
On Field 2, B. Deep will play Hank’s Hammers at 6:30 p.m.; Premes faces Grace Church at 7:35 p.m., and Redeemed takes on the Rangers at 8:40 p.m.
The coed season begins Tuesday, with four games on the slate. Chuggin’ Sluggers faces The Springs at 7:15 p.m. on Field 1, and E.X.B. takes on Pagosa Brewing at 8:20 p.m. on Field 1. On Field 2, Radio Shack plays Wild Hogs at 7:15 p.m., and then Cafe Colorado faces Pubworks at 8:20 p.m. Complete schedules are available at the recreation office and are also available for download through the recreation department link at www.townofpagosasprings.com.
Team registration fees are $250, plus a $30 fee per player. Checks and money orders should be made payable to the Town of Pagosa Springs. Team managers are reminded that the team fee is due before the start of each team’s first game; each player’s fee is due prior to the player’s second game. Players are reminded that all alcohol and tobacco products are prohibited on school grounds.

Kamp Pa-goh-sah Kids is accepting registrations for children ages 5-12 for the summer session, which will run through Aug. 27.
Kamp Pa-goh-sah Kids is a nonprofit organization hosted by the Pagosa Youth Center; the registration fee is $25 per child. The camp offers two time sessions and price brackets – a base cost of $100 per week for children who wish to attend from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., and “A-plus” package for $125 per week for those who wish to attend from 7:45 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Hooked on Fishing
The “Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs” program for ages 8-13 continues Monday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Lake Forest; the program will run through June 28.
Registration cost is $25 for the month or $5 per session and includes usage of fishing poles, bait and flies for those in need, plus drinks and snacks. Participants are welcome to bring their own fishing gear, as well. Insect repellent and sunscreen will also be made available.

Registration for the July session of youth tennis (ages 7-12) is ongoing; registrations are available at the recreation office in Town Hall. Registrations can also be downloaded through the recreation department link at www.townofpagosasprings.com. Cost to participate is $30.

Formal play in the 11-12 division has been canceled due to a lack of participation, and refunds are available at the recreation office in Town Hall.

The Town of Pagosa Springs is accepting donations for this year’s Fourth of July fireworks show.
Donations in any amount will be accepted; checks and money orders should be made payable to Town of Pagosa Springs.
Donations should be addressed “Attention: Fireworks” and mailed to P.O. Box 1859, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147. If you would like to make a cash donation, please do so in person at the front desk in Town Hall.
