Randy Barlow, a successful businessman and recipient of the GED in 1974, was the keynote speaker. His message to the graduates was centered on the idea of moving forward with additional education and learning to adapt to one’s surroundings in order to be successful. “Learning from other’s mistakes rather than making them all yourself,” was a key concept presented by Barlow during his address.
