Orphans running wild in Pagosa

There have been several sightings around Pagosa and reports of orphans running wild!

The reports are true, as Pagosa Springs Music Boosters mounts its summer musical classic, “Annie,” with book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse, and lyrics by Martin Charnin.

Vibrant and rich in song, spirited in dance, and full of the energy of youth, “Annie” is a wonderful blend of young and old, a production that includes our newest cast member at age 7, all the way through to the golden 60s.

Rehearsals are nightly at the high school, with everyone excited and preparing for a late June opening.  Cast in lead and supporting roles are:  Johanna Laverty, Max Miller, Quanisha Tuller, Charisse Morris, Haley Hudson, Bethany Burnett, Trace Gross, Hayley Mitchell, Doug Neel, Laura Stine, Brooke Bowdridge, Anika Thomas, Sierra Hewett, Lue Armbrecht, Elsa Linder, Sabine Elge, Zoe Fulco, Dave Armbrecht, Hannah Hemenger, Julianna Elge, Taylor Jones, Jarett Heber, Zoe Geraghty, Vanessa Morris, Mallorie Mackey and Don Ford.  Others in the company are: Anne Townsend, Leslie Baughman, Megan Davey, Becca Stephens, Larissa Turner, Faith Richardson, Chris Stephens, Faith Heitz, Cierra Caler, Regan Richardson, Iris Grad, Ella Hemenger, Colin Oliver, Andy Donlon and Kurt Laverty.
