Cleanup day for The San Juan Historical Society Museum is scheduled for Saturday.
Beginning at 8 a.m., May 1, volunteers will work to get the museum all spiffed up for the summer opening day, Saturday, May 15.
The society is asking for volunteers to come and help with the cleanup. No special skills are needed, just a willingness to pitch in. You can arrive any time during the morning. Usually the work is done by noon.
Tasks range from dusting to oiling furniture, yard work to sweeping and mopping. If you have a desire, we have several saddles that could use some special attention.
Please bring gloves to wear, cleaning supplies will be provided.
If you have any questions, call society president Shari Pierce evenings at 264-4862.
Many hands make light work. Thank you in advance.
