Sunday Night Unplugged to feature classical quartet

A few months ago, four local musicians who have played together in various forms for a number of years, got together to form a classical quartet. Their group would be considered a string quartet, but they have had to improvise a little. The cello part is played by Valley Lowrance, on bassoon.

Violinists Heidi Tanner and Nancy Smith join with Kate Kelley on viola and Valley Lowrance on bassoon to enhance St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church Sunday Night Unplugged service, April 11 at 5 p.m.

They will play classical selections that will be sure to delight all who love beautiful music. Each player is a highly-trained classical musician, and together they will bring us a music repertoire not often heard in Pagosa Springs.

We are blessed in our small community to have so many fine artists who are willing to share their gifts and talents with us. As with every Sunday Night Unplugged Service presented at St. Patrick’s Church please join us for this evening of music and prayer at 225 S. Pagosa Blvd.
