The parade is on!

As of last Friday, there was some question as to whether the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade would take place in Pagosa Springs. Parade sponsors, the Pagosa Area Chamber of Commerce, had set a minimum of 25 entries in order for the event to proceed and the minimum had not been met.

As of today, however, there are as many as 30 entries signed up and the parade will begin at 4:30 p.m.

Entries line up on South 6th Street at 3:45 p.m.

The parade route will take marchers from 6th Street to 2nd Street and, once again, The Green will dominate the day in Pagosa Country.
