Grab your snowboards and come ride the rails with some of Colorado’s most extreme snowboarders. Novice riders can also take a ride on the rail.

The Springs Resort and Spa will transform its parking lot into a man-made snowboarding mecca during WinterFest weekend.

Friday, Feb. 12

3- 6 p.m.: Boarder registration and packet pickup.

6- 9 p.m.: Slide and Ride Kickoff party in The Springs Bathhouse Parking Lot.

6-9 p.m.: Open Session (Riders must have completed registration and release waivers).

Saturday, Feb. 13

9-11 a.m.: Last-minute registration.

11 a.m.-1 p.m.: First official heat begins.

1:30-3:30 p.m.: Interim Best Trick Competition.

4-6 p.m.: Final heat; riders will be selected by judges.

7-8 p.m.: Top three riders and Best Trick awards.

Come check out the latest gear, take a slide and end your day with a glorious soak in any of 23 individually-designed outdoor soaking pools along the banks of the beautiful San Juan River.
