Thanks to everyone who prepared so hard and auditioned for Disney’s “High School Musical,” PSHS spring musical 2010 produced by the music and theater departments. We had a record breaking 69 students audition for the play; we cast 58 actors! There will be five performances of “High School Musical” in mid-April. The performing arts department at the high school remains active and busy!
We would like to sincerely thank Mary Jo Coulehan for representing Southwest Colorado, and, particularly Pagosa, as the regional representative for the El Pomar Foundation. Mary Jo has successfully engaged El Pomar in financially supporting local non-profit organizations, and we are truly grateful for her efforts. Thank you Mary Jo for being a true leader for ALL businesses, profit and non-profit alike!

Sincere thanks to Chief Ron Thompson for his help when our dear friend fell, shattering her hip socket. His quiet authority and expertise were indispensable in resolving the situation. Also, thanks to the EMT who had the presence of mind to call Chief Thompson. These two people brought the best help possible in a very difficult situation.
