Local Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts are ready to kick off their annual Scouting for Food community service project.
The Scouts are collecting non-perishable food for the local food bank. Food collection bags will be left at homes in neighborhoods on Saturday, Feb. 6, and Scouts will return on Saturday, Feb. 13, between 9 a.m. and noon to pick up your donations.
If you miss receiving a bag, you can drop off donated food directly to your local Food Bank prior to noon on Feb. 13. The Cub Scouts and Boys Scouts thank you for your donations on behalf of those in need.
