Since the Pagosa Springs Town Council has voted to demolish Town Park Gallery we have found a new home!
The Arts Council office will be located in The Club building on Lewis Street. Effective Feb. 1, 2010 our address will be 450 Lewis St., Unit B2, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147. The phone number — 264-5020 — will remain the same. Our new e-mail address will be firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our workshops will continue to be held in the Ross Aragon Community Center Arts and Crafts Room until March 31. After April 1 they will be held in The Studio at The Club.
Our exhibits will be held in the rotunda at Town Hall, thanks to town’s gracious offer to host these events.
So, all in all, we are looking forward to the new changes, new venue and are excited about the 2010 season for the Pagosa Springs Arts Council.

Saturday Drawing Workshop
The much-loved Saturday Drawing Workshop with Randall Davis will be held Saturday, Feb. 13, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the community center Arts and Crafts Room. The cost is $38 and you can call PSAC at 264-5020 to register and prepay for the class.
Winter Watercolor Workshop
A Winter Watercolor Workshop with local Pagosa Springs artist Pierre Mion will be held Feb. 22-24 from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the community center Arts and Crafts Room.
Pierre is an internationally-known artist and illustrator who worked with Norman Rockwell for 12 years, and who has exhibited worldwide. He brings a wealth of talent and experience to his classes, helping locals discover the joy and excitement of doing watercolors.
Students of Pierre often comment about his professionalism, as well as his teaching expertise. He models for his students, he coaches them and he works with them to produce an end result that is beyond their expectations. Even with his background and experience his students never feel intimidated by him.
The tuition is $250 for PSAC members and $275 for non-members. February 25 will be an optional day for $70. There will not be a photo shoot ahead of time and you will be painting snow scenes in watercolor. Please contact PSAC at 264-5020 for registration and payment. The artist must request that registrations are made no later than one week in advance due to extensive class preparation and there will be no refunds for cancellations.
