A snowman and snow sculpture contest will be held in the courtyard in front of Farrago’s and Artisans of the Southwest at 175 Pagosa St. Build an entry before Jan. 9 at 2 p.m. and be eligible for prizes awarded to the most imaginative and “Pagosa-like” creations.

A free photo will be taken of each entry and free hot chocolate and coffee will be available.

Prizes will be awarded at 3 p.m. Jan. 9.
