Music Boosters preparing
20-year review ‘extravaganza’

The 55-member cast of Music Boosters Holiday show, “The Beat Goes On” Boosters Across The Decades!” has been in rehearsal for seven weeks.

It is quite a feat to assemble a musical review that spans 20 years, not to mention the time it takes to devote to practices.

Our “extravaganza” features vocals in the form of chorus numbers, solos, duets, small and large groups;  production numbers that include dance, and script by our 20-year veteran Master of Ceremonies Dave Krueger.

Our sets and props utilize pieces of shows from over the years, and our costumes represent those worn by hundreds of actors on the Music Boosters stages.  We re-use and recycle our sets and costumes for every show, in order to offset costs and to make good use of our extensive set collection and costume library.

Sets for “The Beat Goes On” are designed by Scott Farnham and Dale Morris; sound is by Tim Yount; lights are by Daniel Armbrecht, Scott Farnham and Dale Morris; costumes are by Linda Bennett.

With three shows only set for this event, tickets are on sale early at the Chamber of Commerce downtown, online at www.brownpapertickets.com, or at the door on performance evenings.
