Rotary Operation Winter Coat drive

The annual winter coat drive sponsored by the Pagosa Rotary Clubs, in conjunction with Operation Helping Hand, will be held at the Extension Building at the Fairgrounds on Friday, Nov. 20, from 3 to 5 p.m.

We invite those who can to participate in some closet cleaning and to share things they no longer need in this worthwhile community project.

You can drop off your bags of clothing and warm bedding in specially-marked boxes at the following locations until Nov. 19: ReMax Realtors (uptown next to Ramon’s), Mountain Eye Care, Cloud 9 Chiropractic (in the Sears Plaza), the Chamber of Commerce, Seeds of Learning, the Education Center and at the library.

As the cold months are upon us, the Rotary Clubs of Pagosa want to provide free coats, boots, gloves, hats, scarves, blankets, ski wear and sweaters for men, women and children — useful items to any person who needs them.

Please help us to help others, and participate in any capacity — serving, giving, finding what you need.

Our worldwide Rotary motto is “Service Above Self.”
