Our food drive continues to Nov. 15.
Please drop off any nonperishable items from this list: canned meat or fish, veggies, fruit, soup or dried soup mixes, pasta, rice, beans, sauces or meal mixes for pasta/rice, (i.e., Hamburger Helper, gravy mix, Sizzle & Stir), boxes of instant pudding, Jell-), macaroni and cheese, 16-ounce jars peanut butter, saltine crackers, baking mix (Bisquick), 9.6-ounce powdered milk, cereal hot/cold, two-pound sugar, 12-ounce dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper.
We are trying to reach our goal of 500 items to donate to our local food banks.
Don’t forget about the Women’s Civic Bazaar. It will be at the Ross Aragon Community Center, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday.

The Veterans Day Breakfast hosted by Scott White’s eighth-grade class will again be held here at the center, — 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11. Come and celebrate with us.
Festival of Trees
The Festival of Trees entry deadline is Nov. 16.
Be sure to come and view the trees on Dec. 3, 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Dec. 4, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
The silent and live auctions will be Dec. 4. You can purchase ticket(s) at the community center and at the Chamber of Commerce. Peter Morey will entertain on piano until 7:30 p.m. Catered hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be available. Doors open at 6 p.m.
If you know of a family or senior in need of a Christmas tree this year, they can come to the center office, 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday until Nov. 16, and fill out an application for a donated tree from the Festival of Trees auction. There is a limit on the number of trees donated. Please fill out your applications as soon as possible.
