A Contra Dance and potluck will be held at 6 p.m. Nov. 7 at Park Elementary School, 510. E. 6th Ave. in Durango. The community potluck is open to all.  Bring a dish to share. 

Beginner dance instruction takes place at 7 p.m.; Contra Dance with Hank Ercheff and the Boogie Stringband from Aspen, and caller Wendy Graham from Durango starts at 7:30.

All dances are taught and called.  No partner is necessary, and dancers of all ages and abilities are welcome.  Admission is $10.  First-timers get a pass to come back for free.
