Elation Center for the Arts presents “Songs of the Hollywood Cowboys” with KG & The Ranger at 7 p.m. Nov. 4, at the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.
Join us for some really great harmony singing, harmony yodeling and cowboy humor when KG & The Ranger, a multitalented husband and wife duo from the midwest, bring the Old West to Pagosa, in “Songs of the Hollywood Cowboys.”
Remember how Roy Rogers and Gene Autry blazed across the Silver Screen, and always ended every movie with a song? KG & The Ranger’s award-winning show is keeping those heroes and their music alive with a fresh new sound to the classic songs of the Hollywood cowboys. If you have fond memories of cowboy movie stars, or if you just like to daydream about the wide-open spaces and riding horses, you won’t want to miss this show!
KG & The Ranger consists of Karen Gogolick and Rick Roltgen, a husband and wife duo from Wisconsin. The couple, who met at a community barn dance some 20 years ago, have won numerous awards for their showmanship, fantastic harmony singing and harmony yodeling, performing at cowboy events from California to Florida.
Prepare to be totally enchanted as KG & The Ranger take you on a lighthearted, humorous, toe-tapping musical journey Way Out West. Audiences of all ages are guaranteed a good time.
There is limited seating for the concert, and it is highly suggested to purchase tickets early. Advance tickets for the concert are $15, available online at http://elationarts.org and at the Higher Grounds Coffee Company. Tickets at the door are $18 if the concert has not sold out in advance.
