The famous musical work “Peter and the Wolf” will be performed at Family Festivo Thursday in Town Park, beginning at 11 a.m.

Each character in the performance will be acted by local children in costumes fit for the part.

Music in the Mountains sponsors this free outdoor community concert for families and kids of all ages. After the performances, a free lunch with dessert will be served. During and after lunch, a variety of free games will be spread out throughout the park for children to enjoy until 2 p.m.

Felicia Meyer is directing this performance with high school student Dakota Jarvey as the assistant director. Brooks Lindner will narrate the play and the music will be performed by the Music in the Mountains festival orchestra.
