Get those feet ready for the Tacky Dance of the century.

I’ve been telling you about it for a month, and it’s almost here — July 24, 7-11 p.m. at the Pagosa Springs Community Center.

We have the tunes, the place ... you bring the fun!

This 21-and-over Tacky Dance features a cash bar, and promises to be a tackalicious DJ Dude hit-playing party.

You have a chance to win a prize, and all you need to do is come in your most tackalicious fashions, parade around the dance floor flaunting your most tackalicious dance steps, and show what “tacky” really means.

But, in order to show your moves, you have to purchase those tickets. Tickets are available at Higher Grounds Coffee, Happy Trails and the community center. They are only $10 in advance, and $12 at the door.

How tackawondrous is that?

Festival of Trees

Still thinking of participating this year?

Remember, this is a fun event for the giver and the receiver both. The Festival of Trees on Dec. 1-4 is a great opportunity for Archuleta County organizations to raise money, and a great way for the community to enjoy a fun evening.

You can pick up an application at the front desk at the community center..
