Youth Photo Camp
PSAC’s 2009 Youth Photo Camp, led by Photojournalist Wen Saunders, will be held June 15-18 in the community center Arts and Crafts Room from 1-4 p.m. Each session covers different photographic aspects including location shoots, film processing, camera operation, exposure, matting and framing of photographs, image T-shirts, cards and additional items. No prior camera or photography experience is necessary.
Any child can learn photographic techniques, but this camp offers a special opportunity for children to learn from a respected cutting edge photojournalist. Sessions are guaranteed to inspire your child and offer them a better understanding of photography.
Each full day is $60, plus supplies. This price includes film, educational material and film/print processing. Film cameras are encouraged, however digital cameras may also be used in the sessions. Cameras will be available for rent for a one-time $10 fee.
Space is limited, so call PSAC 264-5020 now for enrollment.
The Pagosa Springs Arts Council Board of Directors and membership would like to thank the Pagosa Pretenders Family Theater, a division of the Arts Council, for their very generous donation slated for our 2009 Youth Art Camp workshop.
We sincerely appreciate their continued support of the Pagosa Springs Arts Council. Their efforts to promote the arts to youth of the Pagosa Springs community are genuinely appreciated.
