The Board of County Commissioners unanimously supported the formation of a Roads Advisory Task Force at a May 19 meeting. The Roads Advisory Task Force will consist of five volunteer members who will be appointed by the BoCC in late June. The term of appointment will be for one year.
The purpose of the task force will be to advise county staff and the county commissioners on the execution of the proposed Four-Year Road Plan; to make recommendations for the expenditure of designated road improvement funds; and to review road projects and funding opportunities.
All county residents are welcome to apply; those with relevant transportation, civil engineering or construction management are encouraged to apply.
