Everybody’s got talent — what’s yours?

Do you have a special creative talent that you would like to share with a young person?

If so, the Ruby M. Sisson Library needs you!

The library’s annual summer reading program’s theme this year is “Be Creative & Express Yourself @ Your Library.”

We have developed a six-week program from June 1 through July 8 that encourages children from preschool through teens to explore the world of the arts through literacy and other creative pursuits.

The areas that our young people are interested in learning about are music, theater, dance, writing and art. Seeing that we have so many ingenious and creative people living here in our own backyard, the Sisson Library would love to tap into this incredible resource.

Your contribution to the program does not have to be for the entire six weeks — any donation of time, talent, supplies, or encouragement will be greatly appreciated.

During our six week program the library also hopes to expose our children and teens to the different local avenues for young people to express their artistic gifts. To take part in this wonderful opportunity to mentor young people and share your gifts, contact Stephanie Graveson at the Sisson Library at 264-2208.
