County planning commission meets next week

The Archuleta County Planning Commission meets at 6 p.m. April 23, in the Board of County Commissioners’ meeting room in the county courthouse.

Public comment is welcome and encouraged.

This is a request to permit a major gravel pit on a portion of approximately 3,500 acres near Pagosa Springs, CO.   

Location: 13211 U.S. 160, Pagosa Springs; also known as portions of Sections 3-10 and 16-18, Township 34, Range 3W, New Mexico Principal Meridian.

 This is a request to permit a major gravel pit on a portion of approximately 175 acres near Arboles.
