Pagosa Lodge No. 114, A. F. and A. M. of Colorado will hold a special communication on Saturday, March 28, at 2 p.m. in the Lodge at 227 Lewis St. This communication is to confer the Master Mason Degree on Brother James Hawkins.
Assisting with the degree work are brother Master Masons from Del Norte Lodge No. 105, Amethyst No. 94 in Creede, and Temple Gate No. 128 in Monte Vista. Conferring this degree by Pagosa Lodge officers and brothers is a third for the lodge in the past 18 months. Following the special communication a reception will be provided by the wives of Pagosa Lodge members.
Since receiving its charter in 1902, the membership of Pagosa Lodge No. 114 has been comprised of many prominent community leaders and citizens. Over the past two years the Lodge membership has grown significantly, as many brothers have petitioned for membership or moved into the area and opted for dual affiliation.
Freemasonry is the oldest and largest fraternity in the world. It is a complete world satisfying the needs of the whole man, physical, moral, intellectual, social and spiritual.
All sojourning or visiting Masons are welcome to attend the stated communications and special activities. We look forward to welcoming and having you join us at the Lodge and activities.
Activities for the month of April include assisting with the 9Health Fair on April 4, a stated communication on April 7, a potluck social on April 21, and conferring a second Degree on April 28.
Stated Communications are the held at 7 p.m. the first Tuesday of every month at the Lodge.
