Latin Dance with Phyllis Dodson

Join Latin Dance expert Phyllis Dodson in her new ECA dance class series at the Pagosa Lakes Clubhouse today, March 5, and also on March 19.

The 90-minute class starts at 6:30 p.m. and costs only $5.

No partner is necessary, and beginners are welcome, as well as more advanced dancers.

Phyllis taught dance for 11 years in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and although her teaching included jazz, ballet, tap, line dancing and world dance, it is the Latin that is her favorite style. Touring internationally with the band Brave Combo for 10 years, Phyllis was often teaching the audiences basic Latin Dance moves during the band’s high energy live shows.

In Pagosa, you may have seen her dancing up a storm at some local live music events. The sheer joy expressed in her dancing is something she wants to share with beginners and experienced dancers alike.

Pagosa Lakes Clubhouse is located at 230 Port Ave. For more information, call ECA at 731-3117. Wear casual, comfortable clothes and shoes.
