HfHAC builds simple, decent homes for families in need in Archuleta County. We partner with families who have annual incomes between 30-50 percent of about $15,000-$20,000, or higher with larger families.

Selection is based on need, current living conditions, one-year residency in Archuleta County, willingness to do sweat equity hours partnering with Habitat volunteers and adequate income to repay a 25-year mortgage

If you would like to learn more about Habitat for Humanity or to receive an application, call Cindi Galabota at 264-6960.

You may also pick up an application at the following locations: Headstart, Seeds of Learning, San Juan Basin Health Department, and Archuleta County Human Services.

Habitat makes a commitment to the selected families to be a friend and a partner through the good times and the bad. We look forward to hearing from you.
