Ed Center offers community education classes

Whether it’s a class to help you meet your career needs, or just a class to help you with your daily life, whatever your education needs, you will likely find them at the Archuleta County Education Center.

Are you interested in learning Spanish? These classes are designed for conversation or anyone needing to brush up on their Spanish. Classes are taught by Anna Milburn-Lauer, in a fun and exciting atmosphere. Spanish classes will begin Tuesday, March 3, and continue 5-7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, through March 17. The final class will be Wednesday, March 17, and will include a celebration. The cost is $75, which includes the $5 annual registration.

If you are interested in expanding your computer skills, the center is offering a Microsoft Word class beginning 5:30- 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, and continuing on Tuesdays and Thursdays through Feb. 26. These classes will be taught by Linda Bright. The cost is $50, which includes the $5 annual registration.
