Colorado Housing, Inc. (CHI) and the Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is sponsoring free home-ownership credit and budget counseling classes to be held Tuesday, Jan. 13, and Wednesday, Jan. 14.
The classes will be held at the UU Fellowship space, 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., both nights. The space is located at Greenbriar Plaza, Unit B-15, just off North Pagosa Boulevard.
This class is for those interested in learning about home ownership, credit and debt management. Participants are required to attend both classes for certification purposes. There is a $20 refundable deposit to reserve a seat; it will be refunded when the classes are completed.
Participants will receive the certificate after completing the entire course that will make them eligible for down payment assistance programs.
