Great shopping deals in Pagosa Country this season

There are a lot of great deals in Pagosa this season. Get out there, you’ll be surprised at how many stores there are, I was, and with so much stuff. Another way to give to the community is to give to the many charities that will feed those in need this season. Either way, it’s a great way to support our community.

Happy holiday shopping, only seven days left.

We are always here to help you plan your event, so be sure to call us for all your holiday needs, and the New Year ahead.

New program ideas

Free programs, that’s what we are looking for. Maybe a book club, a dining adventure night (show a film on a country or state and dine on its cuisine). I know you have more ideas, let me hear from you. Just give me a call, and I’ll see what we can get started on. Call Michelle at 264-4152.

Remember you can come and play basketball at the center. We do have some regularly scheduled events, but call the center and get the open hours of the day.

In December:

• Grace Evangelical Free Church Christmas Eve Service Dec. 24. Contact the church for more information, 731-6200.

• The community center will be closed Dec. 25 and 26. Happy Holidays

Regular programs

Preschooler’s playgroup. The community center is supporting Pagosa’s preschoolers by generously providing use of the gym on Thursday mornings from 10 a.m-noon. Bring clean shoes with non-marking soles as well as balls, ride-on toys and bikes with clean tires. A parent or guardian needs to stay, so no drop-offs please. This is a great opportunity for both kids and their adults as the weather gets colder. Contact Gwen Taylor with questions or suggestions at 731-0305

Couples and line dancing. We will break for the Christmas holiday until Monday, Jan. 5. Call Gerry at 731-9734 for more information.
