In just a few more weeks, area holiday shoppers will have a chance to do all their shopping at the annual Women’s Civic Club Holiday Bazaar, a Pagosa tradition for 34 years.
The event will be held at the Pagosa Springs Community Center on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Vendors from Pagosa Springs, Durango, Creede, Ignacio, Chama and Farmington, at more than 60 booths, will be offering a wide variety of wares, which include fabric art, jewelry, pottery, fine art, photography, holiday crafts of every kind as well as metal, wood and horseshoe art. There is something for everyone.
The Civic Club Café will be open all day, serving baked goods, beverages, soft drinks. Lunch includes Dahrl Henley’s famous barbecue brisket on a bun, together with hot dogs, nachos and chili. You can pick up delicious, mouthwatering goodies at the bake sale. The Boy Scouts will be selling popcorn.
The raffle this year will be for the traditional $50 money wreaths, together with a wide range of gift baskets and vendor donated items. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Tickets may be purchased from the Sisson Library or from club members, and will be on sale all day during the Bazaar.
There will also be a silent auction where all will have an opportunity to bid on some very interesting items, including a package deal two-night stay at the Coyote Hill Lodge, together with a gift certificate for dinner at The Uptown Grill.
All proceeds from the Holiday Bazaar go to benefit the Ruby M. Sisson Library. Come shop, and support your local library at the same time.
