The annual Civic Club Holiday Bazaar — one of the largest local holiday shopping opportunities of the season — will be held Saturday, Nov. 15, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the community center.
More than 60 booths will once again be set up for this shopping extravaganza. If you have attended the Bazaar in the past, you know what a treat is in store for you. If you are a newcomer or a longtime resident who has not attended before, make sure to come out this year and see what all the excitement is about.
Almost all the crafters and vendors from last year will be returning with their products. New participants are from Pagosa Springs, Durango, Farmington and Ignacio. They will add an additional variety of items for you to choose from. They will be offering quilted crafts, hand crocheted items, handmade products from African crafters, souvenir items from the San Juan Historical Museum, candy bouquets, Christmas crafts, goats milk skincare products, handmade scares, mirrors, local photographs, as well as salsas, jams, jellies and drink mixes to tempt your palates.
Come meet these new people, and greet the returning regulars and see their new and exciting merchandise. Most of the items at the Bazaar are handcrafted and homegrown.
All these booths are in addition to the regular Civic Club Cafe, the big bake sale in the lobby, the raffle opportunities and, for the second year, some wonderful silent auction items.
Watch for more details in upcoming issues of The SUN about what awaits you at the Bazaar.
